GDP of Turkey increased by 4.8% at constant prices Gross domestic product increased by 4.8% compared to the same quarter of previous year in the first quarter of 2016 and reached 31 billion 679 million Turkish Liras at constant prices. GDP increased by 12.5% at current prices Gross domestic product increased by 12.5% compared to the same quarter of previous year in the first quarter of 2016 and reached 499 billion 315 million Turkish Liras at current prices. Value added of agriculture, increased by 8.6% and reached 18 billion 937 million Turkish Liras at current prices, increased by 2.7% and reached 1 billion 447 million Turkish Liras at constant prices in the first quarter of 2016. Value added of industry, increased by 12.3% and reached 120 billion 354 million Turkish Liras at current prices, increased by 5.9% and reached 10 billion 785 million Turkish Liras at constant prices in the first quarter of 2016. Value added of services, increased by 12.5% and reached 301 billion 633 million Turkish Liras at current prices, increased by 5.1% and reached 19 billion 884 million Turkish Liras at constant prices in the first quarter of 2016. Seasonally and calendar adjusted GDP increased by 0.8% compared to the previous quarter at constant prices Calendar adjusted gross domestic product in the first quarter of 2016 increased by 4.5% compared to the same quarter of previous year. Seasonally and calendar adjusted GDP increased 0.8% compared to the previous quarter.
