Retail sales volume decreased by 3.1% compared with the previous month Seasonal and calendar adjusted retail sales volume decreased by 3.1% with constant prices in July 2016 compared with the previous month. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 0.9%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales decreased by 7.9% and automotive fuel sales increased by 1.4%. Considering the details of the non-food sectors computers, books, telecommunications equipment sales decreased by 12.6%, electronic goods and furniture sales decreased by 1.1%, textiles, clothing and footwear sales decreased by 14.2%, medical goods and cosmetic sales increased by 1.3% and sales via mail orders and internet decreased by 3.9% compared with the previous month. Seasonal and calendar adjusted retail turnover with current prices decreased by 2.2% in July 2016 compared with the previous month. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 1.9%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales decreased by 6.8% and automotive fuel sales increased by 2.2%.

Calendar adjusted retail turnover with current prices increased by 3.8% in July 2016 compared with the same month of previous year. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 10.7%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 0.8% and automotive fuel sales increased by 1.1%.
